Michael Groot had the opportunity to take over his in-laws farm and quickly got to work transitioning to a regenerative crop farm and direct market meat producer after attending a Dave Brandt event. Now he is researching how rotating cropland with perennial pastures improves the soil and potential profitability of his cropping enterprise.
